By registering to this website and our services you are accepting the following terms;

As a condition of use of this website and our services, you promise not to use this service for any unlawful or prohibited activity. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use this website to; 

1. To abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate any other persons

2. To post or share a post that is obscene, inflammatory, offensive or profane with any other persons or onto general/ public feeds and forums. Or infringe any copyright or any other right of another persons

3.To communicate with another member or users in an abusive manner

4.To create, repost or transmit unwanted spam onto the website, emails or in private messages

5. To create multiple accounts to apply more than once to online forms, competitions or use multiple accounts to bully or out vote other members

6. To post copyrighted content that does not belong to you that would breach term of use licenses. 

7. Trademarks

You may use our website logo for advertisement or blogging purposes but you must not take our, or the MBA logo, to use it for your own monetary benefit or set up competitive websites/ companies using these logos.

8. Use our messaging services, discussion areas, feeds or forums to advertise products or your company without the permission of the admin and without a sponsorship agreement between the MBA and yourself/ represented company.

9. Suspension and terms of service

9.1 By You

You can terminate your account on the website at any time or unsubscribe from the emails at ay time. Terminations of this service will mean member access will immediately be revoked and any other additional service will be retracted. You will be immediately informed of the termination of your account via email. If you fail to cancel your in-person ticket- for any other reason that is not covid-related- before 2 weeks before the event you cannot then be refunded for your ticket. 

9.2 By Us

If you break any of the listed policies then we have the right to deactivate your account and remove you from our website until the end of the event. The MBA membership team will also be informed, if you are a member, and your MBA membership could also be revoked with no-refund.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. These details are not shared with third party companies.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year, or until the website is deleted in summer 2022.

Who we share your data with

 If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We will not share your ip address or cookies with third party marketing/ advertisement companies.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

 If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
